Aimee has been drawing in the surrealism style since she was a young child. Entirely self taught, she began dabbling in paint in 2004. After a 10 year hiatus to pursue a career in dance she once again picked up the paintbrush in 2012 and continued the process of learning and creating. Most often Aimee's mediums of choice include acrylic paints + prismacolor pencil on wood and watercolor + prismacolor pencils and inks on paper.

 

Inspiration for Aimee's artwork comes from nature, environmental and ecological  conservation, and animals, particularly endangered and threatened species.
